Equipped for all types of weather on Skye, the Boot/Drying room is situated at the back of the house. The Boot/Drying room door opens out onto an area of stony gravel next to the perimeter path into house, so easy to take off wet clothes and boots before entering. There is a washing machine, iron and ironing board, an electric drying rack and a clothes drying rack. The room is fitted with hooks for coats and a bench with boot rack for wet boots and shoes. There is a shelf rack for storing outdoor equipment or food boxes. For summer days outside wooden folding chairs and a small table is stored in the boot/drying room and there is a BBQ for use in summer.
